Dr Obada is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Global Biofuels Limited. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Materials Management from Pacific Western University, Los Angeles, USA.
He started his professional engineering career at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1977 and retired in 1995 as a Chief Engineer and Visiting Consultant in the Corporate Planning Department of the company.
He later became the pioneer Director-General and Chief Executive of the Materials Management Institute of Nigeria between 1996 and 1998 and served as a Consultant to the University of Surrey Space Centre, United Kingdom, between 2000 and 2003.
Among his accomplishments, Dr. Obada successfully engineered the entrance of Nigeria into the space industry by facilitating the design and launch of Nigeria’s first Satellite (NigeriaSat-1) working with the University of Surrey and the Federal Ministry of Science & Technology.
In September 2003, Dr. Obada again pioneered the creation of the National eGovernment initiative as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the Federal Government and the Organized Private Sector (OPS). He was appointed the Managing Director of the Company in March 2004. He resigned his appointment in February, 2006.
Following global outcry against Green House Gas emissions, Dr Obada again pioneered the entrance of Nigeria into the Renewable Energy industry, by facilitating the development of automotive biofuels production from agricultural wastes not used for food by humans or animals, working with such notable Institutions as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), The Nigerian Import-Export Bank (NEXIM); Institute of Agricultural Research, Ahmadu Bello University; Ecowas Bank for Investment and Development (EBID); The African Biofuels and Renewable Energy Fund (ABREF), just to mention a few. His biofuels initiative has been acclaimed globally as capable of becoming a Nigerian-led job creation and poverty eradication solution.
Dr Obada is the Acting Director General and Chief Executive of the Green Energy Society of Nigeria (GESON), the umbrella body of renewable energy (wind, hydro, solar, Biofuels) producers of Nigeria. He is a member of the body recently constituted by Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum Resources, Dr Rilwan Lukman to advise government on the specifications and operational guidelines for the implementation of the biofuels policy in Nigeria
Dr. Obada is a Fellow of many professional associations namely:

 Mr. Lamoliatte, Jean-Claude, a French Nationale, joined Global Biofuels as Executive Director in 2008. He serves on the board of NeGSt Global Integrated Co Ltd as Vice Chairman since 2007, the Managing Director of Batiments Technique Ltd and Batequip Nigeria Ltd.
Between 1995 -2001, Mr. Lamoliatte was the General Manager of Roger Renaud Nigeria Ltd.
He attended School for Carpentry Engineering of Bordeau (France) 1960 – 1964 and later trained as Civil Engineer in Ecole Philomatique of Bordeaux (France) 1967 – 1972. He is married with two children. |

 Mr. Salleras Alain, a French Nationale, joined Global Biofuels Limited as the Executive Director for Finance & Administrative in 2008. He serves on the board of NeGSt Global Integrated Co Ltd as Group Executive Director for Finance & Administrative since 2007, Director of Batiments Techniques Ltd and Batequip Nigeria Ltd since 2001.
Between 1981 -2001, Mr. Salleras Alain was the Finance and Admininstrative Manager of S.G.E Nigeria Ltd (Vinci Group) Lagos.
Between 1978 and 1981, He was the Financial Controller of HESTEN Nig Ltd- Lagos.
Between 1974 and 1978, He was the Chief Accountant of CLE ( Creusot Loire Enterprise)Algeria.

 Prof A. Babatunde Obilana is a Development Consultant, specializing in Grain and Feedstock end-user needs and Impact assessment.
His Academic Qualifications include:

- M.Sc; Plant Breeding, IOWA State University, Ames, IOWA, USA (1971 - 1972), and
- B.Sc. (Hons) Botany, University of Ibadan, Nigeria (1965 – 68)
Professor A. Babatunde Obilana started his career 40 years ago (1969 – 2008) in Cereal Breeding and utilization; Agricultural Development, Monitoring, Coordination, Evaluation and Research, Impact Generation; University Teaching; Technology Exchange; Effective Partnerships and Consulting experiences, which traverse Sub-Sahara Africa (Nigeria, WCA region for 18 years; working in the SADC and ESA regions and living in Zimbabwe and Kenya respectively for 19 years and travelling/working in 37 countries), India and USA.
Professor Obilana has also worked as:
- Principal Scientist/Breeder at International Crop Research Institute for the Semi Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) India/Africa from 1985 to 2004;
- Principal Sorghum Breeder, SADC/ICRISAT SMIP, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe 1985 – 2000;
- Regional Coordinator, East and Central Africa Regional Sorghum and Millet (ECARSAM) NETWORK, Nairobi, Kenya 2001 – 2003;
- Professor of Plant Breeding and Genetics 1983; Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru, Zaria, Nigeria;
- Adjunct Professor, Old Dominion University, Norfolk Virginia, USA, 1987 – 1992.
IHe retired from ICRISAT in January 2004 and has since been a Consulting Expert in International Agricultural Development, Monitoring, Coordination; Evaluation and Research; Production, Commercialization through Processing and Utilization of Sorghum, Millets, Rice, Maize with effect from February 2004.
In addition, Prof. Obilana has been involved in professional Consulting and Training works, amongst which are:
- Panel chair for the ARC (Agric Research Council, Pretoria, South Africa) Grain and Industrial Crops.
- Consultant Breeder for Nigerian Breweries Plc in Sorghum Value Chain Project (SVCP) 2004 to date
- Team Leader for UNDP SU/SSC – etc,
- Chief Resource Person, McFeley Development Associates, Lagos Nigeria 2006 to date.
Professor Obilana is currently a Director with Global Biofuels Ltd and is directly responsible for the feedstock production activities of the group.
Prof. Obilana is also in partnership with several organisations in Public/Private Sector linkages, namely:
- Bilateral National Collaboration on Agricultural related matters in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya , Uganda, Somalia, Botswana, Tanzania, Mozambique, Lesotho, Angola, Malawi from 1985 – 2000

JAMES LEDGER FITZROY (Chief Operating Officer(COO) (Feedstock Production) |

James Ledger Fitzroy, a native of South Africa obtained a High School Diploma in 1962. He also obtained Agricultural Diploma from Gwebi Agricultural College which he attended between 1963 and 1965 before also attending the Louis Allen Management Course to prepare himself for Management positions in life.
A professional farmer in all its ramifications, Fitzroy’s experience span the entire agric sector from the cultivation of maize, cotton, tobacco and wheat, to animal husbandry (cattle, sheep, pigs) ostrich farming and captive lion breeding. Details of his work experience are provided below:
- 1965 – 1968 3,500 acres of maize, cotton, tobacco, sheep and pigs cropping at Shamva area.
- 1968 - 1974 22, 000 acres, cross breeding of Sussex/AfriKander.
- 1974 - 1975 3,000 acres of irrigated wheat, maize, cotton plus 1500 heads of Hereford/Brahman cross at Wedza
- 1975 - 1991 100, 000 acres, 3 way x Sussex/ Mashona/ Hereford, total 20,000 heads at Esigodini area.
During subsequent periods between 1992 to his employment with Global Biofuels Ltd, Fitzroy served in various Top Management positions including:
- 1992 - 1998 General Manager, Central Farm Estates, Mvuma
- 1999 Ranching contract in Mozambique
- 2000 Partnership in a farming enterprise in Insiza Zimbabwe
- 2001 - 2002 Managing game and ostritch ranch in Bubi district, Zimbabwe
- 2002 - 2003 Managing dairy herd at Standerton
- 2003 Managing 10,000 hectare of trout, cattle and forestry farm in Machadodorp. Fitzroy became self-employed from 2004 till he joined Global Biofuels in January 2009.
In addition to his extensive farming experience, Fitzroy has served in several important committees including:

- Chairman, Essexvale I.C.A and Cattle Producers Association.

 Mr. Ola Mogaji is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria with over 23 years work experience covering major sectors of Nigerian economy in Manufacturing, Finance, Banking and Service Industries.
He is a graduate of accountancy from Lagos State Polytechnic, 1986. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and obtained Masters in Business Administration with specialisation in Banking and Finance in 2001 from Enugu State University of Science & Technology.
He started his professional career with Elf Oil Production in 1986 as Cost Control Assistant; joined Dunlop Nigeria Plc as Management Accounts Officer in 1989 and rose to the position of Management Accountant in 1992.
In 1998, he was appointed Manager, Investment and Financial Services in Capital Express Securities Ltd (A member of Nigerian Stock Exchange) and later moved to Options Securities Ltd (A member of Nigerian Stock Exchange) as the Chief Operating Officer in 1999. City Express Finance & Securities Ltd (A subsidiary of City Express Bank Plc) appointed Mr. Ola Mogaji as Manager, Finance & Administration in 2000, and later rose to the position of Assistant General Manager, Leasing and Special Business in 2002.
In recognition of his loyalties and dedication to duties, he was seconded to the Internal Control & Audit Department of City Express Bank Plc in 2002 and was later transferred to the Business Development Unit of the bank in 2003.

Major Samson O. Owoseni (Rtd) (Manager Farm. FSPG) |

Born in july 1947 at Agbaluku-Arigidi Akoko, Ondo state. After,secondary modern school in 1959 he attended Atamakoloni Institute of Technolgy, Warri and obtained Diploma in Automobile Engineering, 1966. Had a two years working experince with the then Western Nigerian Ministry of works & Transport, Eleiyele, Ibadan. He was enlisted into the Nigerian Army in 1967.
He attended African Church Teachers Training College Ifako, Agege and passed with a grade II Teacher certificate, 1976 - 1979. He attended Federal College of Education, Pankshin, Plateau State and obtained National Certificate in Educaton in Agriculture in 1983. He had six months Training in crop production from School of Agriculture, Ilorin in 1985.
He attended Young Officers course, Nigerian Army School of Education, Ilorin and Executive Officers' Course III School of Infantary, Jaji. He obtained Diploma in Curriculum Development from Nigerian Army School of Education, Ilorin. He was appointed into various offices as follows:- Staff Officer II,9 Mechanical Brigade N.A. Ikeja, Lagos. Administrative Officer, Command Secondary School, Kaduna 1991 -1994. Chief Education Officer in charge of training, Nigerian Army and School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering - Auchi. Retired from Active Service on 30th of December, 1996 with the substancive rank of a Major. |
